Community Guidelines
Last updated: 22 September 2025
B90HQ is a space for artists, crew, and fans to connect with respect, creativity, and safety. These guidelines apply to everything you do in the app—including posts, comments, reactions, direct messages, shows, mini games, and profile details. Violations may lead to content removal, feature limits, or account suspension.
1. Core Values
- Respect & Care
Treat everyone—artists, fans, staff—with empathy. Assume good intent, but hold each other accountable. - Authenticity
Be honest about who you are. No impersonation, coordinated misinformation, or deceptive conduct. - Inclusion & Safety
Celebrate diverse identities and experiences. Make the community welcoming for LGBTQ+ people, people of color, people with disabilities, and all underrepresented groups.
2. What’s Encouraged
- Thoughtful comments, questions, and reactions about music, shows, culture, and community life
- Sharing your experiences, photos, or videos from events (when you have permission to share them)
- Positive engagement in XP challenges, ScrewdlJump leaderboards, and screws as signs of appreciation
- Location-based recommendations that help others discover relevant shows or meetups
- Constructive feedback submitted through in-app support or feedback tools
3. Prohibited Conduct
- Hate & Harassment
- Slurs, insults, or threats targeting protected characteristics (race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, serious disease).
- Targeted harassment, coordinated brigading, or stalking in posts or direct messages.
- Violence & Illegal Activity
- Threats of violence, self-harm encouragement, or property damage.
- Promotion of illegal activity, including illicit drugs, weapons trafficking, or ticket fraud.
- Sexual & Exploitative Content
- Nudity or sexual content involving anyone under 18.
- Non-consensual sexual content, exploitation, or solicitation.
- Extremism & Disinformation
- Praise, support, or recruitment for extremist organizations.
- Deliberate spreading of demonstrably false information that risks public harm.
- Spam & Commercial Promotion
- Unsolicited advertising, repetitive comments, link spam, or deceptive growth tactics.
- Selling or trading access, accounts, screws, XP, or mini-game boosts.
- Privacy Violations
- Doxxing, sharing personal contact info, photos, or precise whereabouts without consent.
- Posting private communications or screenshots without the sender’s permission (unless reporting abuse to us or authorities).
- Location Misuse
- Sharing someone else’s location, live updates, or private events without consent.
- Falsifying location data to deceive others or obtain unfair advantages.
- Cheating & Exploits
- Manipulating XP, screws, leaderboards, or mini games via automation, exploits, or multiple accounts.
- Reverse engineering or interfering with safety, analytics, or anti-cheat systems.
- Intellectual Property & Authenticity
- Uploading content you do not own or have permission to share.
- Impersonating artists, crew, staff, or other fans.
- Security & Abuse of Tools
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access, phish credentials, or distribute malware.
- Misusing reporting, blocking, or feedback features to target others.
4. Direct Messages & Private Interactions
- Direct messages are still subject to these guidelines. Abuse through DMs (harassment, spam, unsolicited explicit material) is prohibited.
- Respect boundaries. If someone blocks you, do not try to contact them through alternate accounts.
- Report threatening or abusive DMs so our team can take action. We may review reported conversations to keep the community safe.
5. Screws, XP & Mini Games
- Screws, XP, and mini-game scores are symbolic appreciation—never a currency. Do not buy, sell, or pressure others for them.
- Play fairly. Any attempt to automate gameplay, falsify results, or exploit bugs will result in removal of scores and possible suspension.
- Celebrate friendly competition by remaining respectful in leaderboards and challenge chats.
6. Shows & Location Features
- Share reliable information about events, venues, and meetups. Speculation or misinformation that could disrupt events is not allowed.
- Do not post or request private addresses, hotel information, or backstage locations without explicit consent.
- Keep live location updates enabled only when you are comfortable. Disable them if you feel unsafe.
7. Reporting, Moderation & Appeals
- Use the in-app “Report” control on posts, comments, profiles, or messages to flag violations. Include context whenever possible.
- We aim to review reports within 72 hours. For urgent safety issues, contact local authorities first and inform us.
- When we remove content or restrict an account, we send a notice with the key reasons (unless doing so would enable abuse or violate law).
- You can reply to moderation emails or contact legal@b90-industries.com if you believe a decision was made in error. Provide relevant context for review.
8. Keep Guidelines Handy
We may update these guidelines to reflect new features or legal requirements. We will announce significant updates in-app. Continued participation after updates means you agree to the revised rules.
Thank you for helping us build a respectful, energized community around the music we love.
